I have found these sessions very practical, which has been hugely helpful as an outcomes-focused individual. I had previously heard from others that they have experienced theoretical-based coaching, which apparently was interesting, but didn’t help them focus on specific actions.

Working with Nigel has ensured there is clarity and focus on what success looks like, and subsequently on achieving the desired results. I have left every session with,

1. a clear set of areas to improve,
2. an explored set of examples of what I have been doing effectively, and less effectively,
3. a specific set of principles to experiment with, as well as the changes to look out for, so that I could see the changes that were due to me acting /  behaving differently,
4. a simple set of best practice frameworks (and helpfully, only a couple of them) that were relevant and straightforward to understand, that underpinned and supported the coaching.

The result was that my boss, and some members of my leadership team, gave me feedback that the impact of Nigel’s coaching was ‘transformational’; and that is for an individual they thought was already a high performing leader. Thank you, Nigel.
